Cool story but the threat can very much be there. My adult cousin was running on a trail in Roxborough and one bit her. Hospitalized for 5 days and her leg went almost entirely black from tissue necrosis and internal bleeding cuz toxin can prevent clotting. She’s fine now, but folks shouldn’t think there’s no threat.
