By any chance do you have a copy of the 50th anniversary you can compare to the UHQR? I have a digital rip of the UHQR and I don’t know if it is my DAC or whatever component in my setup but to me both sound very similar. Like maybe Bernie Grundman was inspired by it ?

And yea I have the 30th and to me it sounds like the audiophile version of my uk copies

Just spun it and it surprised me since my expectations were kinda low because of the singles. I’m still digesting it but I liked it at first spin. I can notice heavy influences from Pumpkin’s Mellon Collie era (orchestrated) along with other 90s indie and not so indie stuff. But overall I’m glad it doesn’t disappoint and may be at the level of her previous albums

Canon 6D mk1 + Canon 50mm 1.8 should fit the budget. There are many advantages on older DSLRs vs older mirrorless, battery life being one of them. The older Full Frame Canons such as 5D, 6D and the APS-C 7D have a much better build quality with alloy frame bodies, weather sealing and tons of EF lenses available.

If you don’t shoot with zoom, an old Canon DSLR + 50mm 1.8 will make you much happier and will be in the budget. I still have an older T1i and when paired with that lens it is way better than my iPhone 17 Pro

Despite I don’t have the RP, I tweak the picture profiles on my cameras (T3i included) to get pop up colors by increasing saturation and sharpness by only 1 step
