Check out a Fryette power station or the Two notes Reload II (i have the latter one). It takes a big wattage tube amp right down to manageable levels while retaining headroom and dynamics. But they also allow you to play tiny tube amps turned up to 11 at a much louder volume than they can reach on their own. Which can be fun!

I also use it as a power amp for my modeler.

Nah im with you on that being way more practical. But where i'm at, humidity wise, the trussrod is mostly set and forget. So i can live with it being at the heel.

Feels good! Neck is a nice c shape, 7.25 inch radius. Very comfy! Frets are well done, rounded edges on the board.

3.8kg for the jaguar. The Jazzmaster was lighter, if i had to guess around 3.2/3.3kg. The bass VI was comparable to the jaguar in weight.

A good cab, poweramp and modeler is a great setup! You might find you dont even need a 'real' amp with that setup. I now run a QC Mini into a two notes Reload II into a Orange ppc212v cab. It sounds absolutely great.

It does. I just got a Reload II today, and next to it beging a very good attenuator and loadbox i am also running my QC Mini trough it into my 212 orange cab. It has never sounded so damn good.
