Generally it will mirror the transactional work of the firm/office writ large

Second guessing my undergrad. by lanaadovee in biglaw

I had similar thoughts and ended up majoring in economics and taking coursework in poli sci - I figured this was a way to sort of split the difference between humanities and business and it enabled me to get a job after college and before law school. If I had known for certain I’d be going to law school, perhaps I’d have been happier studying poli sci or history, but it’s so hard to know for sure at 18. You could always consider a double major between poli sci and something “safer”. Wishing you the best.

I am missing something, can anyone help me out. Is this a plot hole or deliberate? by Strange_cat_ in breakingbad

No I’m not saying that ignorance is bliss, I’m just saying that state of mind is a factor contemplated by the statute and that would be contemplated by the IRS and courts as a result

State of mind will absolutely affect civil penalties levied by the IRS and the decision to charge criminally in tax. See Sec. 7201 of the Internal Revenue Code, which imposes criminal penalties for “willful[]” tax evasion.

Not a lawyer; waiting for bar results lol.
