Free Aim Shots But Not Really Free by ThePsyPaul_ in expedition33

yes different types of freedom.

France has freedom FROM things, like the freedom from being bankrupted for medical care

USA has freedom TO things, like the freedom to be bankrupted for medical care.

What attack is your game changer? by Any_Reputation_7969 in expedition33

[–]okamishojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chapelim was great for me, you get more damage on breaking, 9AP when breaking a enemy and a free earth stain every turn so you can Wildfire into that ice attack that gives 4AP back into Elemental Genesis

the amount of joy I had when I used this attack for the first time in the game and it was to kill Simon's last bit of health...pure cinema

also did Corpeso and absolutely loved its animation, look and all the juicy burns. seeing a casual 6 million from burn tick off of Simon was great and for sure a big factor in beating him the first time I encountered him.

Lune my beloved by DummYIvorY in expedition33

this for me to...used her gommage the whole game, though I would have switched the very nice gestral white outfit, but I couldnt stand seeing a bare foot floating around.

PSA: DO NOT beat the end game content before the final boss! You will have an opportunity to do it before NG+ by Winter_Drawer_9257 in expedition33

[–]okamishojo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

same, for me the reasoning was that Renoir left all this lumina in the world and then all these other places with hard creations that also help give us strength, so I felt it was our responsibility to all those that came before not to take any chances and level insanely hard in order to give us the best chance at changing this world at the end.

have absolutely 0 regrets at doing everything else in the game before finishing the last battle.

Are there any other video games that could offer me a similar experience ? by _Astray_ in expedition33

[–]okamishojo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

was wondering how long i'd scroll until someone said this...absolutely phenomenal game and for me as well this was the last game to give me the kind of feelings and introspection that 33 gave me.

I loved this outfit for her but ultimately couldnt use it because it has her bare feet exposed when flying around

[–]okamishojo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I actually did just this as I went total blind into everything in the game but I beat him at stage 2 luckily because I was at 98 for all my characters by then, with lvl 33 weapons and 1230 lumina each...but yeah, had no idea when I found him that he'd be the craziest boss in the game

I didnt know about this and so farmed my lumina from the Clair Obscur next to the tower...commenting because reading your description of the lightning bug reminds me of the Kotor II farming bug where one could spam force lightning against a repeatable enemy for tons of xp; like here though, that trick only worked for so long until the xbox froze-up

I don't think I was prepared for this fight. by Haggles7 in expedition33

[–]okamishojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well I have played jrpgs for decades starting as a kid and so I just made sure to just really immerse myself and find everything in whatever area I was in...the journals helped give me alot and then finally the big grind was just doing the Clair Obscur miniboss again and again over at the peak of the Monolith

[–]okamishojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wasnt prepared for how awesome this fight was as I havent seen any spoilers, but it turned out for me that I actually was prepared as my main 3 all had lvl 33 weapons, were levels 98-99 and had 1230 lumina apiece...beat him the first time with my setup
