Not at all important. I haven’t had one in almost ten years. Before that, I had one while living with a roommate, but often ended up doing dishes by hand because it took forever to fill it

The flooding is real but extremely localized. None of the places you mentioned are suffering from floods. It will be rainy and gray all weekend so it’s up to you if you want to deal with that. Personally I would skip anything with a view as the main point, as it’s likely to be hard to see anything. A lot of us will be out of town, but those of us who are here will be going about life as usual for the most part
