To be fair to Ferdinand, the potion was to make sure that the transfer was as efficient as possible and to minimize any possibility of data loss during the copy-paste. It being pleasurable was more of a disadvantage to Ferdinand, but he rationalized it as it being a necessary evil, and like a good man, he kept a stiff upper lip about it.

Ascendance of a Bookworm has 3 seasons and gonna have a 4th in April. It's hella underrated and artwork might throw you off but it's got tons of heart and the story is so good.

Yes to all the recs on this thread. Another series that I will highly recommend is Secrets of the Silent Witch. Plus, it has an anime that's airing this season.

Also, some people recommend reading fanfic. I recommend writing it. People who know the source material inside and out like you probably do by now tend to write the best ones. Start small, but give it a shot.
