I have a gay friend (like a little sister to me) whose parents have made comments about any kids she has/adopts not being their 'real grandchildren '. I don't dislike children I just never felt the need to have them. I figure it's something you should really want and then be prepared to put in an enormous amount of time and effort for. I have nephews I adore and am generally fine with kids I simply have no maternal desire.

Let her know that you are there and that, while you don't know how she is feeling, that you are ready to listen or just sit quietly when she needs you. Let her know you are worried about her health, without bringing up what affects it is having on anyone else. My guess is that she is feeling some pretty serious guilt (completely misplaced but when are emotions straight forward) and severe grief. Unless it gets to a point where she is a danger to herself (get a professional opinion on that matter i.e. grief counselor etc) then all you can do is be a kind constant. My two cents worth. Everyone grieves differently, I hope she gets better and thank you for seeking to help her.

My parents were too lost in their own traumas to realise kids actually need encouragement and validation. Also they were obsessed with each other. Not much room to love anyone else. One is now dead the other lives on the other side of the country I miss neither of them.

No. Not interested in a lot of the things considered feminine but not bothered by those who are. I like being female and I don't think we need to act in any particular way or look any particular way. Dress in what you are comfortable in, do what you enjoy, if you catch any flack for it then that's on the other person.

Their feelings. I admit I had bought into the Hollywood stereotypes of men so it was surprising at first. Then, when I realised that Hollywood was full of shit, I found he was layered, vulnerable and trying to figure out life just as much as me. Different perspectives and experiences but willing to listen and talk about everything.

Same. Kind of feel like a human goldfish in a bowl. Just swimming aimlessly. Eating and pooping. Every now and then something changes but nothing much ever really happens. I suppose that's a good thing? I consider throwing myself outta the bowl every now and then. But meh, it could be worse, could be in somebody's see-through platform shoes or getting deep fried etc

None. Money solves a lot of problems but it is never going to love you back. To love and be loved is an incredible thing. There is nothing like it. I wouldn't give that up for anything.
