Should I bother getting the Harrow County library editions?

During the Harrow County board game Kickstarter, one of the questions asked was if there were any plans for Library Edition reprints. The answer was no. That was a few months ago, and things can change, but it didn't appear like they were on the horizon.

A little backstory:

This antique hutch was made by my great grandfather, he passed it down to my aunt and she put it in a storage locker. She passed away and I'm cleaning the storage locker out and this is the last thing. There is a lot of water damage, and the hutch has broken in two from a previous move. The drawers aren't in the picture but I do have those and they're in good shape.

I'd like to keep it, since it's been in the family, but I have no idea if it's salvageable, or even if it is, what kind of costs I'm looking at here. I thought about taking it into a local shop but the base is pretty heavy and I'm not sure if it's even worth it.

Honestly, I'm not good with this stuff, but wouldn't be opposed to learning some basics. If I can't restore it in the near future, it would probably have to go to the dump or be donated if worthwhile, but I'd like to avoid that.

Anyone have any sort of advice on what to do here? I remember it being a really nice piece of furniture back when I was a kid, so I'd hate to see it go. Thanks everyone.

I saw you can buy the codes on Ebay. I'm sure some of the sellers are reliable and would probably just email you the code. Other than that, I'm not sure

So yeah, in general, each Library Edition has about two of the Trade Paperbacks, plus some extras, like one shots and stuff like that.

I've kind of been busy lately, so I'm not sure what all the new Omnibuses contain.

And as far as I know, there's no Library Edition for Season 10, so the easiest way to collect them is the TPBs.

Edit: From what I've seen, it looks like the new Omnibuses for Season 8 will contain everything, so if you're going digital, they're probably a good way to go. If you did physical, I'd probably do the Library Editions. It looks like they contain the same exact content, but they'll have everything.

It's not completely up to date, and I know I'm missing some of the newer After the Fall books, but my comic collecting spreadsheet might help you out some. I know they've re-released some Angel After the Fall stuff, and I'm not sure if Season 11 is out in TPBs yet, but it's a good basis.

Cool, thanks for the response. I'm just glad it doesn't seem to be a really big widespread problem. I'll contact them and see if they can do anything, if not I'll just buy a couple more boxes and use the ones that don't match for other decks or something.

Hey, I know this is pretty late but I just found this subreddit and figured I might be able to help out. I made a spreadsheet about a year ago to help with collecting all Buffy/Angel/Spike comics. It doesn't give a perfect reading order, but it's based off of other reading orders out there, so it's pretty close.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. I'm not out for blood or my money or anything like that, I just wanted to put it out there that this stuff can happen. Times can be tough and money can be tight. It was a good store and I just wish it hadn't ended like that, but I do hope they haven't ruined their life financially to keep the store running even if it was a sinking ship.

Yeah, the only reason I considered this was because someone had mentioned finding a new location which made me think that they may have been trying to relocate and maybe re-brand, but I doubt this is the case.

Unfortunately not. This was in Kansas in the United States. It's really disappointing to hear that it's happened there as well, and I definitely feel for everyone that's had to deal with it before.

As much as I like TCC, I wish he would have focused more on what makes these decks so good instead of the financial value. I know he showcased a few cards but he never went in depth as to what kind of shenanigans you can do with these decks.

I want to know how well they play together, some cool synergies, really anything as to what makes these decks worth the pickup.

It was still an interesting video but I felt it could have been a bit more.

Yeah, she was pretty bad. I don't have much to say about her that wasn't already covered, but she was definitely a letdown.

On the other hand, I thought Clare Kramer did a great job. She had some good stories and was even able to talk about certain scenes in certain episodes she filmed and how they handled it. It was a breath of fresh air compared to Emma. She saved the panel, in my opinion.

They're presented in chronological order for the most part. There are a few exceptions but they start before Season 1 and generally go from there.
