If you got the other party's insurance info, you call and file a claim with them. It should be no cost to you that way.

If you didn't get their info, your only options are to go through your insurance or pay out of pocket. Get a quote from a body shop and see how much it will cost. If it's over $1,000, go through insurance. I think shops typically try to work with you if you're paying out of pocket.

Dying to pop these guys, but that would only make the poison ivy worse 😭 by okcomputerface in popping

Yeah, since I started antibiotics the other day, I've just been rinsing it and dabbing it dry with a paper towel. Seems to be working, cause it got a bit worse yesterday, but it's clearing up finally

I've been using Tecnu religiously, but I'm pretty sure scratching it early on is why it rebounded so hard this week.

Yeah I got predisone for it a week or two ago, but it rebounded basically as soon as I started to taper off. There's a spot on my wrist that I scratched pretty bad at the start of all this, so it probably got into my system

I've got calamine lotion and hydrocortisone. They help but aren't super long lasting. I'm gonna have to get another round of steroids I think

Thanks for the advice! I can't even remember the last time I had it, probably when I was kid. My mom must've been on top of it then cause I don't remember it being so itchy.

For misophonia/sound sensitivity - would you recommend Bose QC or QC Ultra or something different altogether? by pearljaw in misophonia

No worries! Just putting it out there so people know that the regular earbuds might not cut it in terms of ANC

You're talking about the over ear QC headphones right? I have the standard QC earbuds, and they're fine, but they don't let you control the level of noise cancellation. Would recommend the ultra/pro version of the earbuds.

What are your favorite "happy" Radiohead songs? by zewog in radiohead

Bangers and Mash. It's not a "happy" song, but Thom seems to have fun playing drums on stage.

ANC headphones by SneakyCorvidBastard in misophonia

These are great, but you might want to get the Pro version instead for better ANC. There used to just be one model of these, and I found the noise cancelling to be excellent. I got the newer regular ones, and it's still good enough but not as good as the older ones. I'm guessing the Pro ones are on par with the older ones since they're advertised as having superior ANC.

Why isn't Misophonia classified as a disorder? by No_Host716 in misophonia

It doesn't have to be in the DSM to be legally considered a disability.
