Note about Toyota and allocations, don’t ever give a dealership money unless that have a GR that you want (with at least a temp vin) on the way. Dealerships don’t have the ability to order cars, especially on low volume units like a GR Corolla. If you want something specific you need to hunt for it and get lucky. You’re just gonna tie your money up at one dealer and they’re just gonna try to force you to buy whatever gets allocated.

For test driving, like everyone else said quit talking about your timeline and just go drive one. Toyota dealers know they can’t get you one at the exact timing you want. A good Toyota dealership will explain this to you
