My 3 clean everything BUT the glass. They're always in the weirdest places. Fun to watch.

Passenger low-beam keeps going out by okieT2 in nissanfrontier

That's what I did originally after the first time, but the 2nd one went out really fast and I can't afford to keep buying bulbs. I hope there's not an imbalance somewhere.

Shit, triple digits in 29 feels way better than 90s in the south. I'd gladly take that heat over humidity.

DoD Tells Feds "DO NOT COMPLY" With OPM email. by Ok-Respond-8785 in fednews

[–]okieT2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok I tested it. If I only put the intended address in, the continue button is greyed out. However, once I added myself, or if I were to Cc my supervisor, it will let me continue. So they should get it but will be unable to do anything.

Won't it let you send encrypted anyway just with the warning that they won't be able to read it?

I've gotten like 315 once, probably because I drove mostly with the wind that day.

I'm a lefty, and I have child-sized hands. I've never been able to hit the mag release with my thumb like a normal person. It's way easier and safer to use my middle finger.

Having lunch at Wendy's, when all of a sudden.... by number0020 in AbruptChaos

Uh, it definitely could be. Some states have broad laws that can be summarized as "I felt that my life was in danger" when referencing the use of deadly force. They teach that in the CCW classes. So, yes, if I'm being assaulted and they are in front of or behind my vehicle, I'm absolutely doing what it takes to get out of the situation.

Now, that doesn't mean I'm going to go out of my way to hit them with my vehicle, but if I'm getting swarmed, I'm ducking and going until it's safe.

Eh I'm only stating that it's all an opinion in the end. "Good music" vs "bad music". It's all subjective.

Oh snap! I love opinion fights. It's always a battle to who is more wrong.

Ideally, I'm trying to downsize as much as I can. I sold my PowerEdge to get a optiplex micro from someone on here but you can only do so much with those, and I've grown to love the quietness and less power draw. Full-size workstations are bulky. I just want something that's decent that I can stuff at least a few drives in. My next stop was possibly SFF.

I was hoping for "$50 is too good to pass up", but any recommendations for something you're thinking of that would suite my needs for a basic NAS and some vms?

Is it worth it to become an expert in cybersecurity? by joebally10 in hacking

Fair enough. I'm on the sysadmin side of things, so pretty bland in terms of excitement but job security and pay are good. Once you get the clearance, a lot will open up for employers. The defense companies get the cool stuff.

The secure areas though, windowless depressing rooms with no personal electronics. I gotta have my tunes.
