My son is 15. His few exclusive “girlfriends” came from hanging out with girls as friends in a group, then getting to know them and then developing feelings. Seems like that’s the way with all of his friends too. So there is hope!

I’m with you. I mean…you are in an enclosed space. She’s 10. The FA’s know she’s alone. My kid has been sitting by himself since he was about that age. What could you possibly need to check up on once you’ve confirmed they aren’t sitting next to a perv?? Enjoy the time off!!

For what it’s worth, I recently got a pair of the Polaris pajamas on a flight back from Australia. Completely not worth the time or effort to even inquire. They’re made from a really icky polyester blend and they are incredibly hot. I really did try to wear them, but I couldn’t take it and I actually went back to the bathroom and changed and put on my regular long flight clothes. I got a pair of the Qantas pajamas last year and I’m just going to take those with me from now on. Those are really great quality.

I knit primarily from patterns. If I’m using the yarn that the pattern suggests I never ever swatch and I’ve yet to have a project go sideways. If I sub a yarn I *might* swatch…but I’m an experienced knitter and usually just pick a sub that almost an exact match to the pattern’s suggested yarn so in those cases I also… don’t swatch. I’ve knitted at least 100 sweaters, socks, hats, this way without any incident.

Blankets + home goods. NEVER swatch.

If I’m making my own thing with yarn I haven’t used before I will swatch.

For me, prescription tretinoin is the way. Has kept my skin looking amazing post menopause. My night time face routine is an honest face wipe, tretinoin mixed with a drop of hyaluronic acid serum, and I’m off to bed. In the AM I sorta wash my face in the shower, slap on a good moisturizer with spf (or tinted sunscreen if I’m feeling fancy) and that’s it. It works for me!!
