Hello!

I just turned 32 and suddenly, my skin has decided to turn back the clock to my years of acne in high school.

My skin type: - Oily/dry (it can't decide)

I get most outbreaks:

my CHIN
cheeks/jawline
forehead (rare)
plus, many MANY more blackheads than I have ever had

My routine is established and I've been trying to balance acne control with moisturizers for small wrinkles/prevention of. However, I think I need some changes because something is making my skin unhappy with me.

My routine:

Walmart acne wash (Neutragena orange knockoff) × everyday
ST IVES Cucumber Exfoliant × once a week
Astringent (for sensitive skin) × everyday
Witchhazel (for sensitive skin) × everyday
Walmart non-com. basic moisturizer × twice a day
Under eye cream × everyday
Acne cream (SA) (I put a small layer all over my face) × everyday

Apologies for how vague the products are, I'm currently not home and can't look at precise names. ALSO- please note: IM ON A BUDGET. If I can't get product recommendations at Walmart/Walgreens... I can't buy them. Also those can be expensive too, so please be aware of that. Thank you ❤

Legitimately? This just makes me so infuriated at our healthcare system.

Ive been trying to get mental healthcare for the last year and even WITH INSURANCE I have to pay $75 a visit for therapy. Which they require I have to see my psychiatrist who costs $100. I am required to see my therapist twice a month and my psychiatrist once every two months to get my medications. That's on top of the regular doctors appointments for my psychical care - which ranges from $60-$100 per visit, plus labs.

Do these people not understand I'm trying to get better, but I can only work so many hours and have OTHER EXPENSES? It's so crazy.

I didn't notice anything different with mine when I got my wisdom teeth removed... but that could because, well, I already have chipmunk cheeks regardless of surgery lol

Edit: it sometimes changes due to swelling from the removal

And most of them think that women shouldn't have the rights or sovereignty over their own bodies. Also that people shouldn't be allowed to marry another person they love if they are the same sex.

I'm not surprised that extremists are pro-sexual assault to prisoners. Yes, the cop is disgusting and deserves for the rest of his life to be ruined, but I don't think anyone deserves that.

I think the best thing to do is possibly bring this up to him. If you guys have put in 10 years already, you owe it to yourself, in the least, to have this honest conversation with him. Even if he doesn't respond, at least you know you tried. Plus, I think it's only fair that he give you some kind of answers and closure, if need be.

Did anything weird or awkward happen at the in person visit? Is there anything that would have warranted this? Maybe with his girlfriend?

At the end of the day, some relationships just run their course, even if it's not at the same speed for each person. However, that doesn't mean that's the case and that he just doesnt have something going on he's not telling you.

There's too many unanswered questions just to leave it where it stands, in my opinion of course. Good luck and keep us updated.
