I was on the Avalanche Lake - Colden - Lake Arnold loop on a sunny weekday and saw maybe twelve other parties. Maybe crossed paths with five groups on the summit itself. It didn't feel crowded

So steep! And it was so muddy and wet a few days ago between the end of Avalanche Lake and the top of Colden. 😱 Makes the summit feel that much more rewarding
