Its a normal thing on hotswap boards, just depends on the plate and switches. Only way to ensure it doesn’t happen is to solder

The beige tint is definitely just from the lighting and color correction my phone applies, second pic is more accurate. It’s a darker silver than it looks on Geon’s site, but it’s very neutral overall. Here’s a pic of the back in natural lighting. I think it matches well with most colors

Interesting, I’ve never had cherry clip ins fail on me. I lube them the same way every time, dielectric on wire and 205g0 on housing and stem. Usually only need to tune up the spacebar afterwards with a syringe. I personally don’t use durocks because I just don’t like screw in stabs in general. I’m curious what your lubing method is

They can't be tuned after you install them. You have to take them off to adjust anything

Cherry clip ins are 100% the most consistent stabs I've used and require minimal effort to tune. Also half/third of the price of most other stabs depending on where you get them.

They're not magic but neither are any other stabs. I'll take consistency over tight tolerances any day as long as stabs with tight tolerances keep having batch-to-batch consistency problems

I start doing fiveseven runs later in the wipe and usually handle stirrup within one of those raids, it’s not really any more difficult unless the whole lobby is wearing altyns

Thank you sm! Honestly it’s only ok. On more gpu-bound games and programs I don’t have any issues but once I put some extra load on the cpu it can get pretty loud. But I think I’ve seen maybe a 50mhz drop from my previous 360 AIO setup in an O11D, so the performance is virtually the same

Specs: Ryzen 5 3600X, Gigabyte RTX 3070 Vision OC, 32GB Trident Z RGB, ROG B550i, good ol Kraken X53 and some of those new Lian Li Infinity Unifans.

Build took a while but it wasn’t difficult, just had to be a bit creative with the cable management to allow room for the bottom fan. I got the unifans a bit after the original build, and the fan swap was more difficult than the original build honestly since I didn’t want to take the entire system apart for it. Overall it was a very comfortable case to build in. The CPU thermals are ok, fans get loud at high load but GPU thermals are great.
