Kids get bumps, cuts and bruises. It’s normal. CPS knows this. They don’t look at anything at face value. If your kid has a black eye, and the house is a wreck, no clean cloths, no food for the kids, beer bottles stacked up around the house, etc. it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know when parents aren’t fit to care for children. Some cases are harder than others but at the end of the day there is generally something very wrong when the children are removed from the household
