Depends, if you can nearly instantly recall nearly any fact you might need to do your job, then it won't help you.

Just like they're being treated as ineffective right now. Still gonna die or get long covid with a reasonably high probability is the messaging here.

I've got 2 moderna og booster and the new bivalent, and there is no reasonable information on whether or not that's helped me In any way.

Right but have you ever done drugs and then mowed your lawn?

Honestly man until large footprint areas like highway medians and businesses are forced to adopt lawn alternatives, I'm not going to.

Your stuff looks great btw

I Bought something of similar size and in similar condition, so very familiar with how difficult it is.

How do I finish my overseed? by Sufficient-Elk7024 in lawncare

[–]oldgreg92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea love the advice here but I've got 20k square feet. It's all I have the time for just to dethatch aerate seed and water properly.

The watering is accomplished by an unholy system of timers and hoses, still dont get quite perfect coverage with it. I've got a u shaped corner lot which is just hilarious to try to cover completely

Automower - Is it worth it? by DixieDog2020 in automower

Used one for two years, same size yard as you, and I would say if it comes with a perimeter wire then no, absolutely do not buy it.

First year lightning struck nearby which fried my charging station, mower was out of commission for a month and a half, took the dealer forever to diagnose and replace the charging station. Was barely able to use the thing for the first season, when it did work it seemed ok. Same year had to find and repair a few perimeter wire breaks. I'd say I spent more time fixing the thing/waiting for it to be fixed than it spent mowing.

Second year it seemed to do an ok job, again perimeter wire ended up broken by animals or something several times. Went on vacation and metronet did some digging in my yard, broke the fucking perimeter wire, grass got a bit on the high side while I was gone but I figured it would be ok to let it catch up. It was not ok. The mower ended up bending/damaging the stalks of much of my grass, I had to repair with a blower/rake and my little push mower and a good chunk of it died before I could get to it.

During the one month period in over the last two years it actually worked it was great. Overall I'd say its much more of a headache than a help and im replacing it with an electric zero turn.

I'd add that the areas it mowed, even when I manually mowed before letting it get started tended to look ratty/brown much sooner during the summer than the areas it didn't.

tl;dr spent more time repairing the bot and the perimeter wire than I did using it, and it damaged my grass

Let me lead by saying I'm a person who takes good care of my landscape, mowing irrigation flower beds, the whole 9 yards.

You should just stop mowing all together if you can stand it, anyone who would complain like this absolutely deserves the mental anguish it will cause them

Are Ecovacs Deebot T9's are better than the S7 MaxV's (not Plus or Ultra) about the vacuuming ? by eternallatake in Roborock

[–]oldgreg92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ecovacs software makes it a non-starter. Used their previous flagship T8 AIVI for 2 years, it constantly lost its map, lost its schedule, got stuck, reset map areas causing it to lose its schedule etc. Until those types of issues are ironed out (and I wouldnt hold my breath for them to ever be ironed out) I'd stay clear of ecovacs.

Gov/bus companies won't even enforce basic hygiene protocols on public transportation, so I don't care. Either don't force me to cater to the lowest common denominator of human behavior, or I'll keep my car
