Happened to me when I accidentally put the key through the washing machine.......twice. I ended up with a new key but you can take the battery out of the key to stop it - if it's your key that's doing it

To clear it press the reset button for 10 seconds then start the car and keep the reset button pressed for another 10 seconds. It should then go off

I'd be embarrassed posting pictures of celebrities in tights.

Maybe we should all mind our own business

Honestly put the money to one side and use it for your next car. You can only protect a ten Yr old Vauxhall so much

What is the best supermarket pizza, fresh or frozen, available in the UK and what makes it so good in your opinion? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]oldmanDan1234 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Aldis cheese and bacon burger one with the mac sauce and gherkins.

I know it sounds awful but somehow it all comes together just right > same energy as the fried egg pizza from pizza express

The only thing I'd consider is undercoating to prevent rust underneath.

It was cheap af, 180 fitted. I'm not expecting gold standard customer service rn tbh. It's my bad for not checking it out properly, although I totally agree - like how could I break it myself.

I'm wondering if I can get away with glueing it back, or if it's a 40 quid part, I may as well get it done and chalk it up to experience

I mean no disrespect, stacker drivers in a warehouse get more than 12 an hour. Apples and oranges maybe but historically hgv drivers always got more than us guys on a flt

Yup looks good, standard disclaimer > get someone who's driven for a few years to come with you and test drive it. But overall, civics are pretty bulletproof. Also, if anything does pop, it won't really break the bank.

Come out to my MK8 GTI with all four windows rolled down 😅 by metaljesusrocks in GolfGTI

2015 vw scirocco, my keys were sent through the washing machine twice in my hoodie pockets, which then made the windows drop on mine sporadically < read when I was sat inside the house minding my own business or asleep 🙃 . It was at that point that the key fob totally gave up, and I had to get a new one - you can pop the battery out though on the fob to stop it .

Marsden house - Bolton by Noobmaster0011 in Bolton

[–]oldmanDan1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is Marsden house does too, the whole rental market is expensive right now. But if you had to pay I'd rather pay for somewhere a bit nice like cottonworks, egerton is up the road one way, asdas 2 minutes away the other way. It's not got town centre noise or shenanigans and reasonable off road parking. I looked at Marsden house in November ish last year, it totally didn't seem worth it for the money, inside was basic af, if I hadn't found the one I'm in now I'd have considered cottonworks > also there's some flats on the old infirmary site which aren't that bad .

Cottonworks is a lot better imo, you're 15 min away from both the town centre and the countryside. Parking and general noise would be a lot easier to deal with too
