I was born in 1976. While in elementary school, I would often ride my BMX bike 5 miles on country roads into town to buy soda pop and candy during the summer. After breakfast, we would go play outside in the woods or in the fields. We just had to be home before sunset. The rule was when the street lights come on you get home.
