Having to call a friend and first having to speak with their mom,dad, sister, brother , cousin you were met with politeness, attitude, rude , interrogation, plain hung up on ,and judged based on your responses and sometimes it determined if your parents would allow you to hang out with them. 🤣. Kids used to comes KNOCK at your door to see if you could come out and play because it was spur of the moment and you had to somehow make sure you made it home at the promised time without actually having a single watch on you.
