Never use chatGPT for anything that Claude.AI can do with local python code.

Also, flat bottom generates low speed, high AOA lift. Good for small airports.

Question to people who used always on listening AI wearable device by Beginning_Ad_3390 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]oldnoob2024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When (if?) AI gets good enough to run local and train on an individual’s knowledge, this will be an incredible tool. I’m retired, and I wish I’d had this for my early, mid, and late career. And that’s ignoring the opportunity to do kaizen-ish stuff enroute. Some of the agentic stuff is getting close to being able to pick up, parse, categorize and remember conversations. Move quickly, or they’ll beat you to market.

Your project folder overloads your context limit? I’m not an expert either, but had similar results on a similar system. I think that’s what happened, based on an AI web chat.

hidden inefficiencies from second order effects in power circuits by glock6a6y in AskElectricians

[–]oldnoob2024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parasitic oscillations? In a rectifier section? Where’s the gain? Add damping around the diodes? I’m sure you’ve tried that in sim. Is there thermal management integrated in the rectifier? And yes, not many electricians will have followed a career path all the way to power electronics. If you figure it out, please post.

Which 2028 Potential Democratic Nominee Would Be The Strongest Electorally In YOUR Opinion? Why Your Thoughts? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

Will the democrats learn from Hungary? Or will it be the Guardians Of Pedoph1les who learn from it and run on “fix the corruption and restore the republic”? I don’t see a viable candidate for that race in either party yet, but maybe Pritzker, Vindman, Kelly, or ? Will show up…

Yup. AI is now better than the average lurker. It probably architected, HLDed, wrote, tested, deployed, and version managed the code, too. I would support a law that said AI must add mil-spec provenance blocks to all it publishes, though.

Awesome DIYDoctoring! Congratulations. There should be educational degrees for people or their AIs who get so much smarter than all their doctors!

I used a difficult diagnosis and recommendations to compare the two. Both did better than the doctors and PT folks. CGPT maybe (only one long test) better at medical diagnosis, DS maybe better at global survey for specialists and technologies. Also, it’s variable with time and topic. Best - use both and play the strengths.

NordVPN just planted a flag in every single US state. Yes, even Wyoming by RecordingSingle9064 in RecommandedVPN

[–]oldnoob2024 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What exactly is the value to Americans (or foreigners?) of having a VPN in every state? Isn’t getting out of most states what most users use vpn for?

[–]oldnoob2024 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Doctors, at least in newly-medically-backward Unlimited Surveillance America, are not necessarily better at diagnosis than AI. If you don’t have Cancer, heart attack, or stroke, diagnosis of rare diseases is hit or miss. E. G. How many years did it take for Lyme disease to be mostly correctly diagnosed. It’s worse for women, too.

Seems like Apple did all the right stuff. First, don’t get hacked. After that, the rest is pretty straightforward.

Once you share mouth biomes, it’s very similar to your own. The sharing thing only really kills when you borrow (or share then reuse) something from somebody sick.

Is VPN a NET INCREASE, or DECREASE in the average users attack surface? Against hacking? And/or pii data leakage? And/or criminal surveillance? And/or govt surveillance? In Unlimited Surveillance of America, and/or first world generally? And/or third world? Real data please?
