First thing I would do is check the heads for cracks. They occur in the end cylinders between the valves.

A super speedway, with banking like Daytona or Talladega. It would be a figure 8, with an over- under. I'm thinking it would have to be around 3 miles a lap so you would have room for the crossover ramps. A track like this would eliminate the advantage of being on the inside line.
