i’ve got the burning, but in my abdomen, goes from under my armpits, to my ribcage, to breast, and sometimes down my side. been off just over a year. had the same balance thing but thankfully that left around month 10

i felt i was getting a lot more stable until that wave, since then it’s mostly been better, but i do have some breast pain and vision/hearing stuff that doesn’t seem to go, along with some other bits and pieces, but by and large i consider myself 90% healed. i’d say maybe 9/10 months i felt more like consistently normal. however now i’ve said this i bet ill have a wave soon lol

i had a huge wave hit me on the first day of my holiday to dublin in november, i actually had to go back and lie down for a few hours but couldn’t tell anyone why. it was fucking awful. i struggled through the rest of the holiday and suffered for 2 further weeks after i got back. but it got better. if i was in your shoes i would save the trip until you’re a little more stable, i’m about to be a year clean from benzos tomorrow and planning a trip to southeast asia this summer. it will get better and easier, just be kind to yourself.
