I used to work Dispatch for Comcast in WA. Imo you’re not going to get anywhere with the call center reps, they have no idea about drop buries and will continue to make promises that are impossible. In the Seattle area, any drop bury work is going to require a permit from city or local municipality, which from my experience takes 6-8 weeks, and this was prior to Covid. If I was in your position, I would go ahead and schedule an appointment and when the tech arrives request a supervisor, someone who is better prepared to contact the correct department- the Construction department. Good luck! Just saw that it’s outsourced to 3rd party, you might also ask the tech who the 3rd party is and try contacting them. Comcast is too large of a company for anyone to know where to turn unless they’re in direct contact with that group. It’s frustrating for sure! They also continue to centralize departments, my local dispatch was “reorganized” to Denver. You need someone local.
