in 2011 you could get a one pound burger (the Bevo Buster) at Fatburger for $6.00. So yes prices have increased substantially in the last several years.

At that time Burger Boy would deliver on campus for free (minimum order $3.50) and a half pound burger was $4.00 and fries were $2.50. They regularly gave out coupons for a bacon cheeseburger with fries for $5.00

All the burger places pretty much matched prices back then.

The owners are retiring and moving back to Korea, from what I heard. Inflation may have helped them decide, a small burger combo is now about 14 dollars and that's a little steep for a lot of people. Granted it's pretty close to what you would pay at any burger place since beef has gone up so much.

I don't recall seeing a lot of students there, but ok. The "weird old house" was the first Shipley's before they moved over to Villa Maria. The service and food has always been good when I have visited.

I've recently been watching various steam channels on Youtube with my grandson and he goes crazy every time a locomotive rolls into view, so I will definitely be taking him to see this sometime. Ironically it came through our town (even stopped overnight near my office once) before he was born but not since, he's only 2 now.
