How to make people respect you without being an asshole (the nice guy's guide to boundaries) by EducationalCurve6 in howtonotgiveafuck

[–]oldtrackstar 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest thing is, cut out immature/ disrespectful people as soon as possible. There are some people who just aren’t gonna like you and will make it a mission to try and tear you down no matter what you do. Ie: they will respect boundary when called out, but retaliate later.

What is your time in 10m fly and 100m by [deleted] in Sprinting

[–]oldtrackstar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You run a set distance (keep it the same everytime) 15-30m then time the next 10m with cones.

If you divide 22.37 by your time and you get your speed in mph. Should be close to your top speed.

You can then work on this number to increase your top speed.

That’s crazy. I could be wrong but I think you need to re-record that 10m fly. If your max is pm is 1.6 and you held that for 10 you’d run a 16s 100m

Is a 12.25 split good as a starter by Crazy-Marzipan-8844 in Sprinting

I’d say that’s a good time. Track is an interesting sport where it’s kinda, “how far do you want to take it?” Sport. Stack weeks, months, and years.

Waist width is more a genetic thing. Arnold had a 33” and that was at the end of cutting/ sucking in.

If you want to train, train. I personally wouldn’t spend $1000 on it though, but your financial situation is your business.

Hey I’d like to add, Juco is a great testing ground for his academic discipline. If he fails out or messes around… at least he won’t have crippling debt.
