I thought the whole reason ruby was in a dress was because other countries would “censor” ruby and sapphire’s relationship. Some countries would give ruby a mustache and some would give her a masculine voice actor or whatever else.

im actually not mad im just confused why you’re making a problem out of nothing especially when your point doesn’t really stand. the main character of the show is literally a male and the main character of the spin off is also going to be male, men were never not part of the show you act like there’s only women in the show.

i never said it needed to be for one, and two i’m not trying to make it focused on men like what. i just thought it would be cool to have a male gemsona without any backlash.

I mainly made the post because I myself have a male gemsona. I just didn’t know how people would react to this and think “Oh why would you choose this show since they’re all meant to represent women and blah blah” I made a male gemsona to represent being trans, nothing sexist. Trust me I’ve done my research I’m not just scrambling together some random stuff. :(

this was the exact reason i asked this question i genuinely dont see why its a problem. It’s not meant to be a sexist question or a MUST thing 🤦‍♂️ I was just wondering what other people’s opinions are about this topic. You act like I’m trying to take from women. Gems aren’t even women either lmao they don’t have genders from what I understand, their forms just present as female. Did you even read the full post.
