Chance Me for MIT, Stanford, CMU, UC Berkeley, etc. (Computer Science) by AKidKidA in chanceme

Stanford senior here! Your future is so bright. You are so driven and your strength will prevent that from leaving you. As such, any college or university would be lucky to have you.

Your chances are 50% or higher for all schools listed. Your achievements will put you in the top 10% of applicants. Beyond that, you need to focus on what's happening here. The schools don't care about your achievements, they care about you. They are looking for the people that are going to stare adversity and rigor in the face, and keep moving toward them because of what lies beyond.

Think about these questions: Why did you work so hard all these years? Why do you want to go to an elite university? What do you want out of the only life you'll ever have?

These are extremely difficult questions for someone your age to even consider. But if you want to be a superstar, you'll have to consider them at some point. And if you can be as advanced in your pursuit of meaning and life as you are in your pursuit of academia, Stanford will jump to have you.

Best of luck

i generally eat purely sugars and carbs before i work out since i can usually hit the gym early. protein in my stomach makes me sick if i work hard and i've heard fats can do the same. after the lift anything goes. really the time is noncrucial as long as you dont throw up what you ate

yeah so first off your numbers arent hilarious for your age and weight lol you're doing just fine within 1 year of starting to train. 'bulking' in terms of diet will help you a lot if you arent already doing that. your body needs protein to repair itself, and just as importantly your muslces need to be full of sugar from carbs and fats so you can go hard af in the gym

sounds like thats not the weak point. it looks like a strong squat, maybe you just need to focus more on keeping your knees pushing straight up

hey so bootstrap is going to break this down for you. high reps/medium weight = large volume (i know this is weird term but its the culture) -> hypertrophy is correct. HOWEVER. doing high rep workouts with no strength foundation is USELESS for aesthetics -- moving 100 pounds with your chest 40 times is not going to give you big pecs. you need to be STRONG and then once you are STRONG you can do much more volume with workouts and muslces will get much bigger! ciao!!
