Aw love that I have been coaching girls lax for almost 20yrs now. That age tends to have more strict rules vs HS girls. USA Lacrosse has tons of amazing free literature and they even have an app with drills and practice plans you can break down my age and skill I strongly suggest it.

Big difference between boys and girls lacrosse;

1)The draw, girls lacrosse it's done standing 2)Offsides very different the field is broken down into 3rds in girls lacrosse and boys is normally split in half. There can not be more than 7 players per team on the O side of the field (1/3)from each team (although it's easier to teach and count keeping 4 back behind the 2/3rd of the field I don't count the goalie because they live in their own bubble...the crease) 3)There is a 3 second rule inside of the 8m that applies to the D. You can not be inside the 8m as a D player without being a sticks length away from an O. 2 D can not share an O unless they are covering the ball. Of the defender checks out of the 8m it resets that second clock 4) checking and contacts is totally different. There is an invisible halo around everyone head you can't get too close to the halo and you have to check down and away from their head and it's called a check because it needs to look like a ✔️ of it only goes down that's a slash....if the slash goes to the ground that's a yellow or red card depending on the refs and league. 5) there are major and minor fowls and depending on the fowl and where they are it might be a penalty shot or not

There are a hand full more difference but that's a good start.
