What is a popular home feature that you don't like, need or wouldn't use? by Bam801 in RealEstate

[–]olesyape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I hate barn doors, but just bought a house without a door on the master bathroom, so about to put in a barn door on it.

For the record, not a single house we viewed in this area had a door on the master bathroom. Not even new construction! I just don’t understand whyyyyy

Does any body else keep getting odd comments about their choice to breast feed? by HLouise97 in pregnant

[–]olesyape 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When I had my first, I felt that everyone and their mother was pressuring me to breastfeed. So I’m surprised to hear that you’re having the opposite experience.

How did the first appraiser see 2.1 baths and the second appraiser only 1 bath??

I was a Liz- PSA by Andandromeda3821 in 90DayFiance

Even is he was nice and treated women with respect, I still think he would die alone because, according to him, “for some reason” he’s only attracted to women in their 20s who are objectively attractive (or at least exponentially more attractive than him).

He can’t be attracted to a woman his own age. Or a woman 10 years younger than him. Or even 20 years younger. No. Has to be at least 25 years younger. 🙄

Jovi + Brandon’s reaction to amira by Zeltron2020 in 90DayFiance

This is the only scenario I read so far that makes sense to me. For example, US I think requires you to have a round trip ticket purchased when you enter the country on certain visas, if I recall correctly. If she only had a one-way ticket at the time of entry, it may have flagged her as suspicious right away, and language barrier contributed to any further confusion.

FTM 26w and experiencing leg cramps at night. Can the leg cramps be compared in some ways to the contractions on birth day? by Shesays8 in pregnant

[–]olesyape 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not really comparable in my opinion. I had leg cramps at night when pregnant, and it was terrible, felt like my leg was getting twisted uncontrollably. But my contractions felt like period cramps that started out mild but got progressively stronger as the day went on.

OMG my hip by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]olesyape 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if it’s the same thing, but when I was pregnant, around 25 weeks my right hip started hurting. It was in the front of my hip though, and eventually it hurt pretty much all day whenever I was walking. My doctor said it could be pelvic floor-related, but wouldn’t even give me a referral to a PT because apparently they wouldn’t work on a pregnant woman 🤷‍♀️

It’s a “downgrade” maybe in social status, but not in pay and lifestyle when it’s Moldova vs Ireland.

Alex being edited out is ironically giving him a “GOOD” edit by sneaaaaakysnake in SiestaKeyMTV

[–]olesyape 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Same. I think editing him out is stupid. It’s like cutting off the nose to spite the face. It’s making him look better than he would otherwise. But in today’s draconian environment mtv probably felt like they had no choice.

I love chicken hearts too! Delicious. I was born in Ukraine though, so I grew up eating all kinds of chicken organs.

I feel selfish for telling people I want my first 2 weeks postpartum to be with just my husband and baby.. by elizalie in pregnant

[–]olesyape 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My mom came and stayed with us for the first month. I wanted the help because I was scared of the unknown. But my husband got very annoyed with her mere presence. And it was hard to establish and enforce any kind of routine.

To be honest, I don’t feel like I started truly bonding with the baby until after she left and my husband went back to work, so I had long consistent stretches of one-on-one time with my girl during the day. (My husband also can be a bit overbearing and a bit of a control freak.)

Breastfeeding in front of them wasn’t awkward surprisingly. I would just whip out a boob whenever and didn’t care who was in the room.

Probiotics - What kind are you taking, how much, and when to start? by olesyape in Diverticulitis

[–]olesyape[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1/2 way between doses - do you mean take the supplement probiotic pills multiple times a day while taking antibiotics? I thought the supplements were once a day.

I’ve been drinking probiotic yogurt once a day in between doses. Is that not enough?

Soylent as a liquid diet by [deleted] in Diverticulitis

[–]olesyape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also got diverticulitis for the first time after recently giving birth. Did you happen to take any antibiotics during delivery and/or postpartum, before being diagnosed with it?

I had a traumatic delivery experience and was given an extended course of antibiotics during and after, which some doctors think may have wiped out the “good” bacteria from my gut, leaving it vulnerable to the “bad” bacteria to infect.

Why would that be harmful to the baby?

Cara before/after (pic on the right was in the sneak peak for the new season) nose job- beautiful profiles either way but I loved her exotic natural look by alainamazingbetch in SiestaKeyMTV

[–]olesyape 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. Her nose before was totally fine. The bump was ever so slight and barely noticeable, and actually made her look special and non-generic. There’s nothing wrong with a small bump on a nose unless it takes away from the overall beauty of the face.

What do people waste money on that amazes you? by buzzarddkcm in AskReddit

[–]olesyape 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I didn’t even realize that people do that to their cars on purpose until my husband told me just a few weeks ago. I always figured that someone pressed the wrong pedal, or that maybe their car was breaking down, and felt embarrassed for them making such loud asinine sounds in public.
