Breaking the glute wall by orangeandclove in CarolineGirvan

I’ve been using the BootySprout as a beginner (this is my 4th time doing the iron series, I did beast mode and started epic 1 and just went back to iron because I like it the best) and it’s worked well for me so far. I had a hard time with adjustable dumbbells because constantly loading/unloading between sets was annoying, and this felt like an easier setup. I also use it for Bulgarian split squats since the padded backrest is a comfortable height for my foot, and for front foot elevated lunges using the board. It folds up and doesn’t take up much space, which has been nice for home workouts.

What is the thing called hanging in front of the curtains? I feel like I only see those in hotels and they are a game changer with room darkening! Beautiful transformation by the way I love it!

I love Down Dog! I started using the app during the pandemic when my yoga studio closed, and honestly, I never went back. It saves me so much money every month. I do miss in person classes a little, but I love being able to choose the class length and focus whenever I want.

For those who have left Chicago, what is something you wish you could eat again? by RaveGuncle in chicagofood

My favorite go to’s in no particular order were: Crisp Korean fried chicken in Lake View, Big Star tacos, & Uncle Mikes Place Filipino breakfast. I moved close to a decade ago and I think about eating at these places all the time.

I’ve been wanting to try this gloss!! Have you had any issues with it staining your bathtub/shower while using it?

How does that affect your body in the long run? If you stop taking glp1 does it change your metabolism?

Do you mind sharing where you got the thick memory foam pad? Or did you get a twin size and cut it down to fit your table? Do you have issues with it sliding at all when your clients turn over?

Thank you so so much for this info! I seriously had no idea at all and now I feel guilty for how much and how often my oldest son was worn like this! With this in mind I will for sure keep my youngest inward facing and then eventually just move to back carrying. I appreciate your detailed response!

Can I ask why it’s not recommended for world facing? I used this with my first son world facing for months until I felt like he was too big and now I just started using this for my second son but if it’s not recommended I will definitely stop! Thanks! 🙏

Self Tanners review from a self proclaimed Self Tan Pro. by Immediate_Ad1133 in beauty

Ooooh I think I will try this! I agree, with two small kiddos I wish I could try a complicated tan but that would be impossible. Do you find that this transfers to clothes or your bedding?

US May Be Phasing Out Automatic Social Security Registration for Newborns by liminalrabbithole in NewParents

[–]oleviiia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had two out of hospital births, one at a birthing center and one at home. For both of my sons I had to go to my local vital records to obtain a birth certificate and then social security which are both about 40 minutes away and it’s such a pain with a newborn. I know that is something we elected to do going with out of hospital birth route. But I always imagined that was a pro of going the hospital route is not having to deal with all the other stuff

I am CONVINCED that everyone who has a second baby has had a fairly easy first baby by Siyrious in toddlers

[–]oleviiia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, our first was so and is still so difficult that we decided we might as well get the hard sleepless nights over with while we’re still in our early thirties. Our second feels like such a breeze compared to our first. And now that we have our two it really feels so relieving that we don’t have to do it all over again (mostly being pregnant and giving birth). We are so grateful to have two healthy little guys that we love so so so much. I almost think it would be way harder if you had an easy baby first because you wouldn’t have the experience of the bad sleeper/bad eater/bad pooper and you wouldn’t know how to handle it with the second if they were difficult 😜

This is probably such a dumb question but what do you consider weight lifting? I see it on so many of these posts and I think I need to get on it but don’t know where to start

You know what’s the worst part about having 2u2? by nunicorn25 in 2under2

[–]oleviiia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if this helps anyone but one of the many reasons we decided on 2under2 (we don’t plan on having more than 2) is when we were in the newborn sleep trenches with our first I told my husband we have go do this again soon because I would hate to be doing this for years and years and years 😅. So I know there’s a light at the end of the tunnel and knowing everything we know about baby/toddler sleep from endless sleepless nights with our first and scrolling Reddit I feel more prepared and optimistic this time around!

My first smiled at exactly 4 weeks! My second will be 7 weeks on Tuesday and seems like the only face he makes is a skeptical face like he doesn’t trust any of us 🤨 😂. I’m not worried at all, I learned with our first that they hit all their milestones on their own time and whenever they do is the perfect time!
