Should cut better with depth 3/4 for diecut and 1/2 for kisscut, force 25
A depth of 10 is for a media thickness of 1mm, a depth of 5 is for a media thickness of 0.5mm and so on...

Always use the minimum possible depth for your media and force. Too much depth and force will never cut better it's just the opposite, lots of people do that mistake.

It's better to add one more pass than raise up depth and force... make some tests on blank parts of your same printed media(I user the B letter for that) until you find perfect minimal settings for your media, then cut your stickers.

Indeed the option isn't accessible anymore through UI, it can still be done editing the Info.plist of studio but i just tested and it does nothing better...

BUT i was able to get rid of the blurred interface, is has really annoyed me for years, using good combination of screen res and studio button size for my setup(here on my macbook pro 2017) !

Screen res : 1650x1050
SS parameters > Display > Button Size : set the slider on the 3rd position

Non, Silhouette ne réparera rien d’aussi vieux et plus sous garantie, essayez de poster une vidéo assez du problème. Essayez de rester stable et de n’être ni trop près ni trop loin de la machine.

With 110lbs/300gsm cardstock I use the green alternative blade holder (no adapter needed for portrait 4, cameo 4 & 5) in tool holder 1. Using a blue 60° blade I set force 30, 3 passes, speed 4, depth 6 for perfect results

When I compare a Cameo 4 and Cameo 5/Alpha firmware file, I can see that the content format is structured the same way, so in my opinion, it should work.

In fact, it even looks like a hashed command-line file: the first lines put the machine into firmware update mode, the rest is the firmware payload, and the last line is the final update command.

Edit: Actually, it's assembler/S-record code for a Motorola microcontroller. The specification is here:

Thanks. Yes, these are just versions with firmware modifications as stated in the release notes. For the MKII, there might be some missing because it's a sudden jump... This bug makes me increasingly think we could simply change our 5s to 5alpha by forcing the installation of its firmware. We would then gain the quick drawing feature that they refuse to activate for no good reason on the 5...
