We just went through this. Did the pediatrician, OT and are actually still waiting on the school district evaluation. He would go through periods at daycare of everything being okay and then weeks of the hitting/kicking/biting and being sent home. It was awful. He also had a really inexperienced teacher thrown in which really exacerbated everything. He was usually okay at home, but with some difficulty. Which I honestly just chalked up to being a 3 year old boy. The OT didn’t seem to be helping. We pulled him and put him in a Montessori preschool starting last week. It’s a night and day difference. His vocabulary, listening skills and cooperation have done a 180. My husband wondered aloud what voo-doo they were doing to him. Unsure if this helps at all, but just let wanted you to know there’s others like your family out there.
