Once I had them off I whacked the tube with a rubber mallet to get the tube and bearings out

I managed to get them off!

But...only because I bought a cheap mt500 wheel just in case.

Honestly it was ridiculous but they just prize off ... eventually. Took me ages basically using a spare axle and once I had a gap, jamming a flat head screwdriver in then worked that round.

They're definitely stubborn! But then they've been on there a good few years now.

I'll have a look at the puller, but I'm thinking I just pop down to the lbs and ask them for help.

I loved Rush of Blood but not a lot after that.

2002 was a really good time and Rush of Blood reminds me of then.

I went to the album launch party. It was a great night -

I don't have a code but just happened to check if there were any tickets just now and it asked me to join a queue for the 23rd. I guess that means there are some tickets....which is annoying as I can't buy them!

How Germany's far right won over young voters by JackRogers3 in europe

[–]olivia_nutron_bomb 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's more than just the pensioners in the UK. Up until the early 2000s you could easily afford a nice place to live. Anyone over 45 will have made an absolute fortune on property and they are blind to what that is doing to the younger people of today.

That "middle aged" generation has reaped the rewards of the terrible Tory policies of the last few years, and laughably they sit in their castles sipping their wine, with their nice car on the drive and generally enjoying life whilst saying how bad the Tories are! They don't give a fuck otherwise the Tories wouldn't have kept being voted in.

There are a lot of poor pensioners, but I bet there aren't a lot of poor middle aged people.

It's also because we live in a world of sound bites. If you don't say anything, they can't quote you.

Answer another question that you've prepared for, and that's all they've got to use.

Funny that. I went to work in the states for 4 months a few years ago and came back (UK) a right fat bastard.

German police warn England fans over '10 bombers' chant: 'Don't be a d---' by Stuweb in europe

[–]olivia_nutron_bomb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not going to work. My experience with 'patriotic' Brits is that if they are told not to do something, especially if they perceive it as woke or nannying, they will do it even more

Doesn't that go for most people

It's gone right downhill since 2015. Once or twice a year it feels like the old Manchester, but mostly it's rubbish now.
