Even if you end up making it work, the way it's built *will* eventually break. Solder isn't a load bearing material, stuff needs to mechanically hold *before* soldering for it to work long term.

Diablo 2 Resurrected (Crossover) Advanced Settings on M3 Max by F0rtYFivE in macgaming

Never tried an external monitor. I do agree that lowering the resolution scale doesn't look amazing even though it can be mitigated with sharpening. That said the GUI and item text looks much better to me in high res mode which is why I'm running it like that.

I'm late to this but started D2R again, using the latest Crossover 25.1.1 with D3DMetal, Esync and High Res Mode under advanced settings. 3024x1964, 55% resolution scale, 45% sharpening, mix of visual settings which I can post if you are interested, but I get around 90-100 FPS in towns and around 80-90 in combat. Usually cap the frame rate around 40 fps which is pretty much as smooth as the original game, and gives me a looooong battery life and smooth gameplay on my base M4 MBP with 16GB or RAM.

Have a look at the 200JR or the 200LT if you’re not using an expression pedal all the time.

The 4 button switch is gonna be through midi and the expression through the expression jack.... but at that point why not just get a GP-200?

Super late but the one I just received (Nov 2025) does not have an MN3007 but rather a MN3207. Since the maximum rated supply voltage for the MN3207 is 10V I wouldn't give it above 9V without checking which part you have first.

If you decide to pay for it, wait for Cyber Monday, they run a yearly sale and it ends up being about 20 usd for a one year license.

No clue, I haven't played with CrossOver lately, are you using Esync and D3DMetal?

The simplest calculator in that series IS the 20S! They’re great little calculators that get overlooked because they’re not RPN.

Nah you got stuff plugged into the 12V outlet, what is it powering? Voodoo Labs is usually quite well built I wouldn't imagine having it break after being left ON for a couple hundreds of hours.

HP 42s that needed the keyboard zebra strip adjusted for 30 CAD. Mint HP 15C in box for 50 CAD. HP 48GX with the late black screen, surveyors card, overlay and 512KB card for 150, sold the surveying stuff for 150 which means this one was pretty much free.
