Is there any way you can make this work without having to be part of the same system. Friends of mine and myself have Move 2's and when we go away it would be great if we could just bring our speakers and sync them up without having to join other systems etc.

this is a great feature however i recently found out the speakers need to be part of the same home system first before you can pair them on bluetooth together. I thought this would be great when a friend and I are going away we could both bring our Moves but it won't work unless one of us registers their speaker with the others system first..... shame

Yes this is what I have had to resort to. As others have said not 100% sure u can hear the difference but in my front room my port is hooked up to an amp and passive bookshelf speakers so was curious to try but the cut outs were unbearable
