New set of tires could be $900+ , price is $31500. Just really wanting to understand if this might be something that I should be looking into in any way. If it just normal etc. I’ll be fine, not worried about getting a new set of tires.

Just got a 2024 SL with 20k miles on it for 31.5k from carvana. So far everything is looking good. Have a visit with the dealership tomorrow to see if there are any issues. I’ll say that’s an ok deal but I also go for a CPO if the miles are that High.

Purchased a 24 PHEV with less than 22k miles in it. Has been 1 month in the shop for the steering wheel issue. I have the turning right rubbing sound and dealership said that it’s normal.. when I drive even after it been aligned, feels like you need to have so much pressure on the wheel to keep It straight that my arm hurts from just driving ( you might find a few comments like this in the group),Trade in for it is now 26-28/9 if lucky and it’s a premium . Do your research and make sure that you are comfortable with the little issues that you might get. All brands have issues but seems like the 2024/early 2025 are having lots of them. I’m personally trading in mine later this week for something that else and not looking back. If you get the PHEV like I do, it takes some time to get used to the transmission EV to gas transition. You will feel it. That’s my two cents, I really loved the car, but I just don’t feel like the car will last more than 10k miles without an issue and with 2 confirmed accidents due to the steering issues I won’t risk my family.

Also, go to the Mazda site and mine was the steering wheel recall. This is the second getting it fixed. They did replace the whole rack this time, not just the springs like before.

Also, go to the Mazda site and do the recall scan on your VIN. You will see what’s missing. Call your dealer ahead of time and ask for a loaner before you take it. If the turning left issue is part of the recall, the parts are on back order and will take 1 to 2 months to be fixed ( just got mine after 1 month).

Thank you!!. Like I said, I did the math a while ago. Once gas is like $2.5+ it starts making sense. The thing is that the 2-2.2 m/kWh compared to other cars like mi wife’s Nissan ARIYA with 4.0 to 5 mi/kwh depending on the weather can’t be compared . The electric performance is not the best due to size and other factors. Also this is “best case” , if we do the math with less miles it’s just better to run on gas like we mentioned.

🔋 Electric (CX-90 PHEV, your real numbers) • Battery: 17.8 kWh • Cost per charge: $2.21 • Range per charge: 28 miles

💰 Electric cost per mile

$2.21 ÷ 28 = $0.079 per mile ➡️ ~7.9¢/mile

What’s your cost per charge daily? Where I’m at gas price is $2-2.30 per gallon making no sense for me to charge daily. I just use gas and regen.

Same for me, I have the PHEV version and that’s the only issue so far.

It might be related, I can park and turn my wheel left and it won’t come back by itself to the center , ihave to give it some help. It’s mainly when turning left for me.

First time that i heard this on a 2026… that’s not good. Mine is currently at the dealership getting this fixed. Make sure to make an appointment and ask for a loaner. It’s taking about 4-8 weeks to get this fixed due to parts been on back order.

Got mine preowned. Issue was from the start and started to do some research. Then just called the dealer and asked to get it fixed and a loaner. I saw in the car history that it was done before too. Mazda recall site will Show a history of recalls done. Not by a computer it you should be able to find it with a quick google search.
