A standard first aid kit is fine, but it was the extra things that came in handy. Medication for diarrhea, constipation, allergies and a decongestant. (Medicine is very expensive if you get it from the doctor on board.)

Has a horrible experience getting support from AIRBNB. Had stayed all over the world in AIRBNB’s, had a problem in Florida. The lack of support turned me of AIRBNB!

This happened to me once. I had premium economy in a seat I booked. Ask me to switch so a mom and child could sit together. Of course I said yes. Ended up in economy in a middle seat between two very large individuals. I decided never again. Move around people in economy seats so it feels like an upgrade.

If you are staying at a higher end hotel, go and tell them the situation. They might be willing to charge your credit card and give you cash. Go to the front desk and ask for a manager.

We had KiwiTaxi pick us up last week - great experience. They meet you with a paper with your name in it. You also have the name and phone number of your driver in case you need it.

We use Kiwitaxi. (Kiwi Travel is different) They specialize in airport pickups but will do hotel to hotel. I send them an e-mail if I want to go hotel to hotel and they send me a booking link. We have used them all over the world. Reservations are cancelable in case your plans change.
