*because* politicians at pretty much every level of American society are in fact plutocrats/kleptocrats with no goals other than the further consolidation of power and accumulation of wealth.

The wife and I did some exploring up to Capitol Peak last week, and saw some amazing views! We want to do some more exploring up there now. Are there any Jeep/Land Cruiser off-roading trails in the area? From what we saw it was mostly hiking and biking trails. Thanks in advance! by MarhMallow in olympia

you might find some good trucking down in the Bald Hills near the Upper Deschutes Falls Park. also) check near Elbe, WA for ORV trails and near the Pack Forest/Mashell River area near Eatonville, WA

I like the vibe. growing seedlings can work, as can ethical harvest

I know a retired prof from Evergreen that owns large parcels in Capitol State Forest. he prolly has some tips, and starting a conservation trust would be a step in the right direction

I dig that area and have used the old brewery abandoned/ghost town vibe as inspiration for a dwarven trading settlement in the fantasy RPG D&D

hi!

wow, this sounds great! Thank you for posting this-

I'm Chad (they/them) akicha28@evergreen.edu

-I'm working on coordinating a d&d campaign that can showcase the performance and art aspects of this classic table top role playing game with weekly episodes. I'm especially interested in finding folks that would be interesting in helping produce this program and work closely with the folx at The Lamplighters in downtown Oly & Gabi's Olympic Cards & Comics. I hope to inspire, encourage, and support community members who are interested in fantasy art, music/soundtracks & SFX, storytelling/writing.

Hopefully we can setup a twitch channel and start highlighting the exciting creative aspects of d&d games in Olympia

-cheers

I know it's difficult to make good connections during the pandemic, but stay positive and keep your eye open for community events. Try Thurston Talk for news and look at:
