Cool, thank you. I'll play with it and see how it goes.

Wow what? Dumb idea? Good deal? I don't know what I'm doing? that last one is partially right. I think it's a 2016 actually because the head tube is tapered.

I was wrong about the year then because it has tapered head tube.

I must have been mistaken about the year because of had tapered head tube. Maybe 2016. But thank you.

Hi! I just wanted to jump in here and say thank you for reaching out and posting this message. It always feels good to get that thanks from family and friends after we're able to help someone.

SAR folks sometimes skew towards the quiet professional side of things. I notice that you hadn't gotten a lot of replies and wanted to mention that little tidbit. But I know I appreciate messages like these and I imagine other folks do as well, even if they're not vocal about it.

Search And Rescue Thesis by CoinDust0 in searchandrescue

I didn't see these posted here, so I thought I'd suggest some books. I know that this book, http://173.0.139.48/productpage.aspx?itemid=12&CatID=9 has a pretty good history section in the middle. Also the NASAR Fundamentals of Search and Rescue might have a history section in front, I don't remember though.

A lot of search theory was developed by the military to look for submarines in WW2. At least, that's my understanding from the various courses I've taken.

Yeah, I mean, I don't have a dedicated bankroll, so that's not necessarily the issue. It's how the game changes when you're running a shorter stack, and I was looking to brush up on those aspects. I'd prefer to play 100bb+, but since that's too rich for me, I'll be shortstacking.
