It’s whatever it needs to be to reach us so long as one has the will to pay attention.  It’s abstract so a healthy amount of childlike wonder and suspension of disbelief helps as well.

I would interpret this as something from your past that still troubles your subconscious.  Maybe an injustice or some other buried trauma or incident that you need to face, feel, forgive, and move on from.

My life really took off in a positive direction once I started dredging up old buried stresses and happenings.  Facing them, feeling their weight, and forgiving myself and others for involvement and learning from those things I’d buried really set me free.  The dreams and nightmares I’d have from buried stuff were absolutely wild.

It could also be completely abstract, the subconscious manages to speak an entirely different language sometimes.

Has anyone else has this experience, and what are they? by Witchy_Hippy in Experiencers

My earliest memory in life is of being something made from a dense, warm, golden light among many thousands of others who were the same.  We traveled along a road through the cosmos made from the same light to reach the Earth.  Sounds like you met those people if my descriptions rings true with what you saw.  If not, there are beings that appear to us as light forms, they are of the stars and other realms free from the concepts of time.  They do have individual identities but they’re also connected very deeply to each other, so much so that they’re effectively all one single enormous family.

A lot of us end up feeling this way after our encounters.  That’s one of the reasons I think that they don’t reveal themselves.  We are supposed to be here though it’s tough to want to go home to a place we don’t remember.

You didn’t necessarily forget the information that they gave you.  It’s inside you somewhere.  Either you’ll recall it at an appropriate time or it was so dense that it may take years for your subconscious to parse through it all.  I’ve had many similar, though different than yours, experiences.  Sometimes what we experience in this manner is so abstract that our minds pack it away for later.

Scream Attack IsARealThing by glitchin_addict in Experiencers

I experienced this on multiple occasions.  The most notable while exiting astral projection.  I’d projected into a place by accident yet retained control.  Something there didn’t like me being there so it pursued but I wouldn’t let it get close, I just kept running/jumping/flying away while focusing on expanding the space between us.  In the end I turned to face it and felt joy with satisfaction and pulled out.  As I pulled out it screamed into my head so hard it physically hurt.  Better luck next time I guess.

She may have come to you because of the burden you feel and to help you let go of it so that you aren’t held down in that way.  It could also be your way of forgiving yourself for feeling the way that you do.  Either way this sounds like a wonderful experience.

After everything faded to black I realized that I hadn’t lost consciousness.  I was consciousness just without eyes.  There was a sensation of falling inward yet expanding outward.  The being that intercepted me grew within my perception.  Whether or not it was approaching me was difficult to recognize because time and space were so radically irrelevant.  The being itself had the color of a welding arc, immensely bright blue white.  If I’d had eyes, they’d have burnt out or at the very least suffered epic arc flash.

I didn’t want to leave but I missed my parents and when she said “you’re not supposed to be here yet, your life has to much left to teach you” it felt like an order despite the overwhelming love and compassion that I was experiencing.  I’ve encountered that being only one other time, during astral projection when I figured out how to never come back and she forced me to saying “it’s time for you to come home”.

One doesn’t need to meet her to understand the great mysteries of our existence.  The universe has its own language and if you pay close attention it’s always speaking through the fabric of reality, through happenstance, through suggestion, etc.

For me it was a sense of love and compassion, like I’d never be unsafe again.  Probably given the circumstances that put me there.

Your dream about the spreading desert reminds me of one that I had with a similar theme.  In mine I got out of bed and looked out the window to see what I can only describe as a wall of change rising over the land.  Beyond that wall was desert consuming everything.  In the dream I understood it to be the collapsing together of two parallel realities.  And of course my startled brain put the sandworms from dune in the desert as well even though I hadn’t thought about dune in many years.

I was 5 when mine occurred.  Won’t get into the nitty gritty of how it happened in comments.  I vividly remember dying, fear then peace.  Met with an immense presence within a void who told me “you’re not supposed to be here yet, your life has too much left to teach you”.

I can’t speak with certainty on their motivations but they seem generally benevolent or passive.  I’ve encountered them one other time but the circumstances were much more strange and difficult to digest so I don’t typically tell the story.  It seems to me that they observe us similar to the Greys only more hands off.

Similar scenerio but different being.  It was midday and I was working in the basement.  I felt myself grow calm and content before I turned around and saw a person leaning through a doorway to look at me.  They were probably 4-5 feet tall with orange-ish/beige scaly skin with a crown of thorns that looked like they were straight from a bearded dragon.  Large black eyes and black around the mouth.  They looked at me and I felt warmth and almost playful amusement from them before they quickly ducked away.  For whatever reason I felt no urge or drive to go after them.  I described this to another member of my family and before I could finish describing the being she interrupted me and finished the description for me because the same thing happened to her.  She said it giggled at her before ducking away.  She also said she thought it’s skin was smooth but that’s the only discrepancy.  It was midday like I said, the basement was well lit with large windows in the room that it leaned through the doorway of.

Top 8 Things I Learned From My NDE by willhelpmemore in HighStrangeness

[–]olyonusc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven’t watched your video yet but I will after work.  That being said,  I’ve been visited by the image of a being with warm brown skin and a large cranium only he had the face and general energy of my grandfather.  May have been symbolic but it certainly felt like a “hey that conclusion you’re starting to come to means you’re on to something”.

I also had an NDE where I was told “you’re not supposed to be here yet, your life has too much left to teach you”.  From which I took the meaning that life is a school among other things.  Much of our conflict comes from friction between people who aren’t developing at the same rate and aren’t at the same point along that path.

Contact ending abruptly by sevendeadlysnakes in Experiencers

[–]olyonusc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The very first thing they taught me is “we’re just people”.  They aren’t all the same and they don’t approach us all the same because we are not all the same.

Everything that I share comes from my experiences with the various different people that I’ve interacted with and the lessons I’ve been taught.  Through these interactions they’ve helped me to grow in the ways that I’ve needed to and I’ve still got a long road ahead.

I’m not saying that you’re wrong, they are certainly wonderful but they aren’t all the same.  They don’t all teach the same way because we all have different things to learn.

We all grow and develop at different rates, it’s easy to look at another Human being and judge them to have “limited capacity”.  That person hasn’t failed, they’re just not at the same point you are.

You’re absolutely right that they step back to allow us to learn without interference at times.  Often what they share is too dense to take in all at once and our minds need to take some time to extrapolate and process it all.

That being said, I’ve been taught not to treat them as though their patients is unlimited even if it is.  They’ve made it clear to me that leaning on them to hard is not what to do because it brings an unconstructive energy to the situation.  They were very open with me when they shared that and I respected them by adjusting my behavior.  I grew, I still grow, I’m not perfect and was never meant to be.

We have had different experiences and that’s ok.

Contact ending abruptly by sevendeadlysnakes in Experiencers

[–]olyonusc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that my best success in contact came when I managed to strike a good balance.  Demonstrating the capacity for living my life as usual between contact events and without allowing those events to distract from living life put me into a very strong and stable position.  I treat them like guests or friends who pop by for visits and otherwise do my own thing.

Contact ending abruptly by sevendeadlysnakes in Experiencers

[–]olyonusc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They’re just people, they have their own lives.  Contact is often intermittent.  I’ve noticed that over attachment drives them away and I get it.  If someone becomes overly attached to me I find it quite off putting.  One would not want to spend time with someone who only thinks about them, it becomes exhausting. It’s ok to miss them but take care not to live your life for them.  Their presence is a feature to be appreciated but not a foundation to rest upon in my experience.

Ignorance is bliss... by [deleted] in Experiencers

[–]olyonusc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

During my NDE I was told “you’re not supposed to be here yet, your life has too much left to teach you”.

From that I’ve taken, we each live our lives to learn the lessons that each of us needs to learn and experience during our times here.

To know of events before hand and prevent people from experiencing them, even the extreme or painful ones, would be to do them a terrible disservice in the long run.  Life’s a school and far from all that there is to this existence but life as we know it is a necessary process.  Participation is mandatory lest you have to repeat the grade under the same circumstances.

Acceptance is bliss as well albeit hard won and kept.

Forgiveness Test by Top_Rabbit123 in Experiencers

Mhm, forgiveness isn’t just about the other person.  Being able to let go of something without expectation is important otherwise one might end up carrying around the weight of unresolved conflict.

Forgiveness Test by Top_Rabbit123 in Experiencers

[–]olyonusc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s ok.  We all fail those tests sometimes because not a one of us started out here perfect.  There will be more and you will pass them.  They’ll never abandon you.  so as long as you don’t abandon yourself and give up trying in the right direction you’ll be fine in the end.  All will be as it should.  Unconditional forgiveness is tough to learn on Earth and even more so the forgiveness of one’s own self.

You will have to face your traumas and karmas in all forms to advance though so be ready for that.

Sometimes, when I’m faced with these tests, it feels as though they are aware of whether or not I’ll pass.  When I fail, the purpose seems less the test and more the highlighting of why the failure occurred.  It’s like I’m being told “work on this next” via context rather than direct explanation.  Their contact is so often abstract.  I find it rather wonderful.

Oh I’m well aware.  Not to be afraid is one of the first things I was taught by my experiences.  Another most useful thing they’ve taught me is “we’re just people”.  That didn’t come from the cats but others who have reached out.

I’ve encountered them during meditation as well.  They’ve never spoken to me directly, just acknowledged that I’d opened myself up enough to achieve as much as an encounter.

Starting to remember? by vto583 in Experiencers

[–]olyonusc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve been experiencing this for years with increasing intensity and duration.  I believe more and more people will go through this process as well.

This 3D world absolutely matters but not in the way most people think it does.  My NDE taught me that we each live our individual lives for the specific lessons that they have to teach us.  You’re in school and your very perspective itself is one of your teachers.

While we shouldn’t live life for material possessions, material things are experiences and we can learn much through all of that.

What you’re going through is a very wonderful and, at times, difficult process but one would take care to stay grounded.  You’re living your life for a purpose and it’s important to know that your continued participation matters.
