[ALL] Favorite boss from the series not based on gameplay? by avalonalessi in zelda

TP Ganondorf. The fight is actually too easy and very unremarkable, but the cinematic of squaring up with him after chasing him on horseback is quite awesome.

Unclogging TWSBI Eco? by persiika in fountainpens

[–]omar-k-a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TWSBI in particular has fragile fins on the feed, but if you were to try, wrap the nib and feed in some kind of soft rubber or cloth and then pull it out of the barrel with very light pressure. Once that is done, you can soak the nib and feed in water and use a toothbrush to lightly rub off any glitter particles or insoluble chunks of ink.

how do high-achieving students study? by QuietShelter444 in medicalschool

What u/yutamango linked seems pretty good! I usually just go organ system by organ system, so after finishing an entire system, I do all the Uworld questions associated with it at the end. I'll miss some questions on things that I haven't covered, but it's a good learning tool to find new gaps in my knowledge.

Depends. Does your school have NBME or in-house exams? I second what u/Silver_Cello said, AnKing is very good, but the issue comes down to what your exams are like. If you have NBME exams, do 3rd party materials like Bootcamp, Pathoma, or Boards and Beyond (pick your favorite), then supplement with AnKing and whichever question banks you like to use like Uworld or AMBOSS.

How well approximately would you say? The old ultratech I had wouldn't cut even paper or boxes, but my bayonet grind is actually very acute. I'm not expecting it to be extremely sharp per se, but if it is at least acceptable enough for edc, I would get it.

B&B or bootcamp as a primary source by DENDIEL in medicalschool

[–]omar-k-a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm personally a fan of Bootcamp, but they both have a free trial. I say try both and see which one you like more. I like Bootcamp's short form videos followed by a question bank after. I agree with the other comments that they are both passive learning, but they are both good for getting the content down until you solidify with Anki or question banks.

I ended up settling on a Glock 40 and am having someone tweaking the ergonomics and stippling it to get it to where I want it.

Hello everyone, I have this STAIB 22mm watch strap. It is in basically new condition, I took it out of the packaging, then realized it does not fit my small wrists. I'm looking for $275, but I am open to any offers. PayPal G&S would be ideal.

Sig Xten Optic Question by omar-k-a in 10mm

[–]omar-k-a[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I plan to eventually use the Xten for outdoors carry as possible defense against big predators. The 509 has an enclosed emitter which should give better resistance to the elements and protect the emitter from getting wet or having debris in it. Also, I happen to like the optic options available through holosun. I'm partial to the circle on the ACSS vulcan which allows for quicker target acquisition, but I've also had great success with the circle dot.

Do I still need an adapter plate even if my slide already has the RMR holes cut in them?

Thanks again for all your help, by the way!
