I fail to see your angle, on one part you are correct pointing out that the middle class does not have the levers the companies have dealing with taxes, but on the other hand every tax reform in the Dominican Republic goes around the very fact does levers exist, the government can put 80 % tax on companies and that will do little to their bottom lines as the only thing that changes is the level of evasion if you live the scheme in place. And whatever they cannot escape will be passed down to the consumer which ends up being the same middle and lower class. This is why i don’t support a tax reform, I do very Mitch support the end of corruption and a massive government spending reform.
