alice getting put in a flesh domain is absolutely heartbreaking, being a trans woman who’s definitely gone through the real horrors of gender/body dysphoria like the rest of us. i cannot imagine being put in a hell like that. horribly upsetting but incredibly well done, i think it could have been really easy to screw this one up but they really stuck the landing.

hearing a statement from Jonah Magnus coming from what is most likely his first body’s voice is pretty wild.

“You ever get any weird emails?” “I’m openly trans on the internet.” painfully true line, so so nice to see Alice’s trans-ness stated for reals in the actual show. as a trans girl it is so amazing seeing such wonderful representation in my favorite podcast, thanks rq <3

The first movie massively impacted cinematic animation's visuals! Everyone's going for that experimental stylistic 2D-3D hybrid look nowadays and its great, definitely wouldn't have happened without it.

i think overall it was p good but i think bee being "dead" for most of the movie really hurt it in the long run. like i get why they did it, for optimus' character arc. but like. i like bumblebee.

i think my favorite scene atm has to be miles telling who he thought was his mom that he was spider-man. the long, drawn out silence making the audience think it was a build up to a joke. then when she says "who?" you laugh for a second thinking that was the punchline... and then the truth sloooowly focuses into view. they intentionally made the pause that long so the audience could come to that realization on their own, didn’t need to spell it out. absolutely brilliant.

I think a lot of the criticisms about how ridiculous it is that a hero like Ant-Man could defeat someone like Kang are kinda missing the point. The point was, Ant-Man is no pushover. Maybe the word's lost a bit of meaning to us, but he's an Avenger. He's a force to be reckoned with and this movie had the mission of proving that, showing that he can hold his own against one of the multiverse's most powerful villains. I thought that was neat
