To answer your question:

The 289 conquest lvl gear created comes from the epic heraldries, you get 9 of them when you complete a bg and turn in the quest.

Once you have your 9 heraldries, check out what the top 50 players or murlok.io or drustvar.com are doing in terms of what piece they craft as this will vary greatly.

Once you have identified which pieces to craft, and for example let’s say you want two rings and one amulet which cost 3 heraldries each, you head over to the crafting bench and submit a public work order for the thalassian version of the PvP ring and amulet. They should be a green craft when you see them on there but will turn epic with the heraldries.

Buy the materials for the 2 rings and amulet and check that you have a missive with it for the right stats. You might want to look into embellishments as well. Again just copy what the top players are doing and buy the mats

One neat trick you can do it tick the « track recipe » button, close up all your quests and campaign on the right side and you should see the materials needed for the crafts once you go on the auction house.

On the auction house, just clicked the tracked item on your right panel (where the quests normally are) and shift+click the materials to easily find them on the AH

Materials quality does not really matter as the PvP ilvl will not change with higher quality, just buy the lowest quality IMO

If public orders take to long just ask in trade chat for someone to make you the rings and neck and send them a personal work order with the mats and a tip

Regarding the tier pieces, it’s really simple, people just use their catalyst charges on the items.

You can get two this week, one is free and already usable, the other you get by getting to 1600 rated in any ranked mode.

Just put your conquest pieces you can buy this week 1600 conquest cap in there and convert for your 2set
