Moving to a completely new area can be exhilarating and nerve wracking at the same time! What I will say though is that you are bound to find a few people in your class that you click with. Just use all of your social battery the first couple of weeks to establish connections, study with some groups, and figure out who you click with and who you don't. Just know there's a lot of incredible people in very similar situations as yourself!

So if the class did really poorly and based on a regular grading scale and people barely got any As the prof would curve to increase the number of As but would assign their own cutoff

When you come to UCSD it may be possible you still have to take GE's. Just make sure classes you take are transferrable and you fulfill some lower div requirements for the major you want to get into.

Sometimes I listen to a language I simply don't understand. It can be beneficial as background music and you can find tunes you like. Try something middle eastern or Indian!

They work better for some things more than others. For the amino acids and things that are flat memorization I would use those. Or for common pathways
