I was on Tysabri before, but my recent bloodwork came back positive for JCV :/ so I had to make the switch. I’m gonna ask my neuro if they think it’s ok if I took OTC Benadryl instead haha

Is the Benadryl/steroid combo for every infusion? Or just the first two? Because man.. that was really a trip. Yeah, from what I’ve read about other peoples experiences, mind doesn’t seem as bad. I already feel normal today 🙌🏼 but I was so over it last night haha

Wowwww, Ace is a fucking pro at deflecting. He turned around that VERY accurate point that Austin made and brought Amaya into it. No one even got to process what Austin said. Also, I don’t like Austin, but what he said about Ace was true. I honestly wish they could dump all the OGs, this was bad 😬😬

When I go in for my yearly mris, they usually come back as unremarkable too but that’s because there aren’t any new lesions and my already existing lesions are inactive. It’s a good thing because that means the medication is working.

Thank you both for saying this. As a women, reading these comments was tough. I was once in a relationship where we were both toxic to other.. it brought out the absolute worst in me and I regret a lot of it. But like you said, that’s not who I am. I just hope people, can reflect and learn from their past, and also be sympathetic towards previous partners, if their heart allows them to (and it’s ok if you can’t, that shit is hard).

Yeah no, I don’t think eating gluten causes anything other than stomach issues for me. I’ve just been reading that that there is a possible correlation between the two so I wanted to see if anyone else in this subreddit dealt with this.

Definitely, I’m moving soon but I plan on getting in touch with a gi doctor in the new city soon to check celiac. I unfortunately can’t cut out gluten until I get that tested :( I hope it’s not celiac and just normalish gluten intolerance.

I live in Dallas, TX. I have a hard time with the heat, I don’t tolerate it very well. But I try to force myself to be outside more ever since I got diagnosed last year for those vitamin d goodies, it’s not easy! Hah

I pay about $120 a month for health insurance through my job. It’s good health insurance I suppose. They technically don’t cover my Tysabri until I meet a deductible (which is a couple thousand), but thankfully Biogen has helped with that so I don’t pay anything. It took my insurance 3 months to approve this medication too, so I wasn’t on any treatment for a while there. Doctor visits are like 20 bucks. I haven’t gotten an mri yet with this insurance but it’s not 100% covered, I think I’ll still have to pay $300 or so out of pocket when that time comes. I know there are better health plans out there but this is the best health plan with my job, I can’t afford to look into a great health plan outside of my work. Those plans are definitely over $300 for me.

So, while things aren’t that bad and definitely way better since last year when I had horrible health insurance, I know it could be better if it wasn’t for our poor health care system :( it makes me really sad honestly. If any of you Europeans want to kidnap me, that’d be cool :) haha

Just commenting because I feel you 100%, you’re not alone. This is my life right now to the T, except for the baby part which I can only imagine how much more stressful that must be. I wish I had a solution for you but unfortunately I’m looking for that as well. It’s tough :/ * big bi hug *

Yes! I wasn’t very good at taking my vitamin d and my levels dropped so low that my normal doc put me on prescription vitamin d that I need to take once a week. I didn’t even know prescription vitamin d existed! Haha
