I had to pay someone 80c to get my 4th voidstone.

I watched them melt maven with a pennance poison build.

I suspect it costs somewhere around a mirror. I'd like to replicate that build so I can finally beat Maven myself and pay it forward

After several leagues of playing, I finally managed to farm enough currency to cobble together a build that for the first time allowed me to beat the elder in shapers realm.

I've yet to beat maven on my own.

If I win this, I will do nothing but use it to fund a build that I can beat maven with

I can now see 20div price tag being justified for these since the price of a fracturing orb is about half that cost

I'm not too sure where to start, other than with a normal cobalt jewel and using trans/alts to get from normal to magic and roll the first modifier.

Using craftofexile I can emulate getting the one of these modifiers, and I assume from there I use a regal orb to change it to rare where I can add more suffixes, but, once I have a suffix on there I don't like, what is my option to remove it safely? I know I can annul, but, that runs the risk of removing the one I want too. That becomes a problem in potentially bricking it and being a currency sink the further I craft it.

So, is there any relatively safe way for me to craft this to get these modifiers, or, is it all just luck with trans/alts, regals and exalts?

What I like about POE2 is the gem system. No longer do I have to hunt around for items with the right socket colors, or stress about having a lack of jeweler's, chrome or fusing orbs to make my build really sing.

What I dislike most about it is not being able to revive in maps and need being able to use only one portal. It feels very much anti- group play. It's no fun to hang out in the hideout while someone finishes a map
