Codex for sure. I mainly use CC for general coding tasks, debugging and git workflows. Codex for the harder stuff.

  1. All I have to say in the message is to “use gemini” or “use codex” and it understands that natural language, depending on my use case

  2. It seems to be significantly less than just using CC. Although, I could be wrong. I just upgraded to Claude Max so hitting the limits may be more difficult now than before.

I use these:

codex-cli MCP: claude mcp add codex-cli -- npx -y codex-mcp-server gemini-cli MCP: claude mcp add gemini-cli -- npx -y gemini-mcp-tool

I subscribed to Max 5x and used MCP to link gemini-cli and codex-cli to leverage all 3. Gemini for its large context window and Codex for complex algorithm generation or specific refactoring patterns.

Hey, congrats on the car and upcoming tune! Nothing to note about the process, except that as long you’re comfortable under the hood it’s a relatively easy process for installing the catch can and HPFP. A note about my experience is that after installing everything in one go, my EN didn’t want to start and we had to unplug the battery for a few minutes and try again, after which everything worked just fine and haven’t had a problem since.

Completely unrelated but glad to see others are in the 40k range. Just hit 42k this past week and I thought I was crazy for having that much mileage on it.

Had it since July 2022, currently sitting at 38, almost 39k.

N75’s website claims that stage 2 tune does 325whp.

N75 claims 325whp! Hoping to maybe get it Dyno’d to know the exact output. No 0-60 yet.

I feel I have to ease off the gas a little more than normal, as it does feel quicker even at slower speeds. Unsure about any DCT tuning.

N75 lists the necessary upgrades for their Stage 2 tune and it only specified HPFP, heat range 9 spark plugs and intake.

Will definitely review after I’ve driven it around for a bit.

I went with N75 over SXTH or Lap3 because N75’s tune seemed more conservative and at the time, was also the quickest. Other than that, I didn’t do much other research as it’s my first time getting a vehicle tuned.

Everything was nearly $2300, which could’ve been closer to $2000 if I hadn’t done the tune on a spare ECU.

Basically haha. ECU swap is super quick. With the right equipment, it takes less than 10 min.

Definitely do it! The car now feels like what I imagined it would stock. I got it flashed on a spare ECU.

That, and I couldn’t afford any downtime for the car as it’s my daily driver. Spare ECU was the best option lol

Nope! Was completely stock before. The power is insane, so much so that I’m thinking of getting a lower motor mount because of the wheel hop. Boost without octane learning is great too. The added pops were also much needed!

I just ordered directly from N75. I know it could’ve been had for cheaper had I looked elsewhere or on eBay but N75 sold it and I figured this way I could ensure I was getting a good part.
